Latin Tattoo: Perfer

by Tess
(Sweden)

Dear Latin Teacher,

I'm getting a tattoo in a few weeks and I was wondering if I could use the word "Perfer" as it means literally carry on, be strong etc. Or do I have to use the word with something else?

Thank you
Kind Regards
Tess

Dear Tess,

Sorry to say, I get too many requests for help with tattoos, and I no longer advise readers about them.

If you already have a tattoo and would like it translated, please write again.

Thanks for asking a Latin teacher.

Sincerely,

John
