Death to Tyranny!

by Amy
(Boston, MA)

I find this to be an inspiring motto. To me it means all tyrants meet their end, all people who would use a power or privilege that no human should have to circumvent the rights of others have a fitting end.

Many philosophers purport that life is nearly meaningless without something to strive for, some struggle for an accomplishment. And this motto, to me, ties into that. That man fights for the greater good in life, that tyranny must be defeated, and that thus unto all tyrants a befitting end.

I've always liked the ring to it. This motto to me means the defense of justice, liberty, and truth.
