I am wanting to get a tattoo of the word 'believe' in Latin on my wrist.
I want it to represent... believe in yourself, believe your dreams will come true, believe life will turn out the way you want it to.
If you could please help me I would be greatly appreciative.
I have done a lot of research, and found the following...'confido', 'credere', 'puto', 'autumo', 'crere' etc.
Thanks and Regards :)
You have done a lot of research. And some of the words you have found will work great for your tattoo.
First off, however, you need to put your verb into the imperative mood and keep it singular. You are looking for an order spoken to one person: Believe!
Confide works nicely and means "Believe!" as in be confident, be sure.
Crede works nicely, too. And it is the purest translation of "Believe!"
