Vocabulary: Rogo

by Lily
(England)

Dear Latin Teacher,

I am stuck. What is the first person singular of the verb, ASK.. and the infinitive please

I am confused, is the 1st person sing. Rogo?

It doesn't sound right to me. Please Help.

Dear Lily,

Yes, the first person singular present tense is rogo.

The infinitive is rogare.

Any Latin dictionary will list the first person singular present, then the infinitive, then the first person singular perfect.

Hope this helps, and thanks for asking a Latin teacher.

Sincerely,

John
