Variation of Descartes Cogito Ergo Sum

by Malcolm
(New Zealand)

I want to write 'We move, therefore we are', as might relate to another quote from Descartes, deum esse primariam motus causam

Thks

Dear Malcolm,

Nos movemus, ergo sumus means we move, therefore we are.

The Latin phrase means literally we move ourselves, therefore we are, i.e. the word nos is accusative and reflexive.

Hope this helps, and thanks for asking a Latin teacher.

Sincerely,

John
