Lucid Insanity In Latin

by Peet
(South Africa)

Hi! I want to say lucid insanity or something of the sort in Latin, can I say dilucidus deliritas?

thank you so much!

Dear Peet,

You need the feminine form dilucida deliritas. Also, deliritas is rare in Latin, although it is a word. Insanity is more often insania or dementia.

You might try either of these: dilucida insania or dilucida dementia

Hope this helps, and thanks for asking a Latin teacher.

Sincerely,

John
