Latin Translation: Faith in love
by Martha
(Detroit, MI)
How would you say "faith in love" in Latin? "fides in diligo" is what I found but is that correct? How do you pronounce that?
Hi Martha,
Faith in love: Fides in amore. (fee-deys in a-mor-ey for an approximate pronunciation)
Diligo is a verb, not a noun. Translators often can't tell the difference.
Hope this helps and thanks for asking a Latin teacher.
Sincerely,
John
