Latin Help

by Robert
(Texas)

Dear Latin Teacher,

How do you say "Made for War"? War: bellum

Sincerely, Robert

Dear Robert,

The exact Latin phrase you are looking for will change depending on the thing or things made.

For example, a man or masculine thing made for war would be bello factus. If it is plural it becomes bello facti.

Different forms would be needed for feminine and neuter, too.

Feminine: bello facta, bello factae.

Neuter: bello factum, bello facta.

Hope this helps, and thanks for asking a Latin teacher.

Sincerely,

John
